We continue the process of rechartering our institution in Nigeria, and to that end we have exciting news!
We have secured a small campus in the Opebi neighbourhood of Ikeja, Lagos State. Our next tasks are to renovate, furnish, and equip this new facility to ensure that staff are well positioned to serve students there. This campus consists of a securable perimeter containing two buildings.
The main hall will host the Registrar’s and Bursar’s offices as well as the University Library, other study areas, and a lounge. Whenever students have any question or need, they should easily find the answer right there on the ground floor. Upstairs will be offices for other university officials, workplaces for academic staff, and a boardroom.
The academic hall consists of classrooms where tutorial sessions can be held.
We’ve also begun filling staff positions and appointing members to our Board of Trustees. The heart of any university is not buildings, books, or technology, it is its people, and we’re committed to recruiting the best people available.
